Yes, we have fixed some bugs, and I decided to update the blog. Here is a list of fixed bugs:

* Falling off the edge at the beginning intro.

* Fixed the training to make it a little more "Cave Story-ish" (Not really a bug, but yeah,)

For those who are awaiting credit, please wait, we are going to add you to this list which we are compiling. We have a tight schedule, some of of us can only work for around 30 minutes due to the time zone screwing us over.

We shall try to update the blog more, as we are gradually gaining small ounces of time to write them. In latest news, Vagabond, one of our testers, has proven himself to be clear on providing bug report feedback. If any of the other testers can, we shall send you a version if you request it.

This version is dangerously close to scripting a boss. We have managed to elaborate on the story even further. The game cuts off in the tunnel, where the boss is intended to be.

About The Game

Cave Story: Ashes to Ashes is a fan sequel, carrying on from the previous game, Cave Story. It follows the mimiga Katsu, on his adventure to save the entire levitating island from the inevitable catastrophe, also tackling his dark past.

Katsu will be searching the deepest regions of the island, occasioanlly coming across small scavenger villages and settlements, all can be linked together by teleporters. It is Katsu's job to find supplies, chase away demons, or even go to the surface to retrive important technology.

The mod is currently in development, with currently 8 members taking part. In this blog we will be providing you updates and releases that we won't do anywhere else.
